150 night suits, 100 dresses and 50 pair of shoes: Hina Khan is wearing borrowed outfits on Bigg Boss 11?

When the news of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress Hina Khan entering the Bigg Boss house had come out, we all expected the starlet would be a simpleton, very much like her on-screen character. The way she was rooting for Girl Power on  Khatron Ke Khiladi, it was only natural that fans expected her to be a staunch feminist and to take a stand for other female contestants on Bigg Boss 11.  Contrary to everyone's expectations, she soon became the most-hated person on the Salman Khan-hosted reality show, thanks to her career-shaming, body-shaming and derogatory remarks about people inside and outside the house. But there are no two ways about the facts that she is one of the most stylish housemates.

Recently, Hina's co-star Rohan Mehra visited the sets of the reality show, of which he too was a part last year. Lauding his Di's fashion choices, Rohan said that it is being liked by the masses. His compliment led Vikas Gupta to reveal that the telly town diva has carried, not 20 or 40 but as many as 105 night suits with her, one for each day inside the house! While one may argue it is more than the total number of outfits hanging in their closet, the actual figure is even higher.

After Vikas' revelation, a certain designer named Neerusha Nikhat took to her Twitter handle and accused Hina Khan of 'borrowing' clothes for her stay inside the house. In a slamming tweet directed to Hina and Rohan, Neerusha wrote -

Neerushaa even shared two screen shots of Whatsapp conversations between her and Hina Khan's stylist Hemlata Periwal aka Hemu who was asking her to sponsor the celeb's clothes.

A furious Hemu rebuked the designer for revealing her number on social media. She even added that it is absolutely okay for celebrities to wear sponsored clothes.

In an interview with Telly Chakkar, Neerushaa revealed why she denied sponsoring clothes for Hina. “The reason I said no to the proposition was because I knew Hina when she was doing a show (Yeh Rishta) for Rajan Shahi. I know the whole story on how she exited from the show. Even though I’ve worked for a small time, I’ve worked with this woman. I know her, I know her intentions and I never liked her. So when I was offered to sponsor her in Bigg Boss for minimum 60 days, I denied. When Rohan said that she (Hina) is the style icon, I was like sorry no! She is wearing clothes that are not even suiting her. My whole message was to Hina. Madam at least wear clothes that fit your body. Your height is 5’4’ and you are wearing long gowns that are floor sweeping. Everything she is wearing is too much of an overdue. I’m a renowned stylist that is the reason I can comment on it. Main kal kiaayi hui hoon (I’m not a rookie),” she told the portal.

Further slamming Hina Khan, Neerushaa was quoted saying, “Of course it’s (sponsoring) a trend; we’ve sponsored celebs like Mouni Roy, Divyanka Tripathi. But it’s my personal choice whom to sponsor. I’ve seen Hina in two months; she is such a negative and cribbing soul. I don’t like her personally. You are wearing 50k lehenga and sweeping floors; you are wearing a 20K gown and entering in a pool of water! You need to understand what that stylist would be going through, watching it outside. Honestly, she doesn’t deserve good person around her.” 
 

The designer however wouldn't mind giving clothes to Arshi Khan. “Shilpa Shinde sometimes wears good and sometimes really bad clothes but people like her personality. Arshi also, whatever brains she has she is using it to style herself. Hina is taunting Arshi, for a matter of fact Arshi nighties will soon come in the market. So I would want to sponsor someone who I would like as a person that was the reason I tweeted. The crux of the tweet was that thank God I didn’t sponsor her or else I would have regretted it. The style icon is clothes, it’s personality. How you carry clothes is what makes you a style icon,” she told the portal.

Notably, Hina's Instagram account is full of advertisements of all the clothes she wears on Bigg Boss 11. Her social media team seems to be advertising the designers of the worn apparels, footwear, and accessories.
